* WRITE AN ARTICLE. BellaOnline is about written articles, just like CNN or other news sources. Please ensure your sample has paragraphs and full sentences. It should be primarily written in the third person ("A hiker should" rather than "I used to") and provide practical advice that a reader in your topic area would find useful and informative. It needs to be written by YOU.

* SPELLCHECK your work. If your submission is full of typos and errors, we cannot approve you. BellaOnline has a strong reputation on the web and we work hard daily to maintain this.

* PUT AT LEAST 400 WORDS IN THIS BOX. We cannot handle applications where you ask us to "look at my website". For review reasons the full article must be in this box.

* BE ON TOPIC. We are determining whether or not your writing style matches the specific topic you are applying for. Make sure that your article is specifically about the topic you are applying for. It should demonstrate your ability to help our visitors learn more about this specific topic.

* JOURNALISTIC. Your article should be written in the third person and provide helpful, informative article on your topic. It should not be a story about "I went to the park" or "I played with my children." The focus needs to be on the reader and how they can improve their life, not on you the author and things you have done.
